Conrad is an honest, two-fisted American boy out for fun and adventure in a world that couldn't be more chock-full of wholesome opportunites. Some disagree, however, and would describe him as a one-eyed slug/man-child. And what are those? Dog ears?

Greg is Conrad's best friend and roommate, and a major in Pirate-American Studies. Generally the more level-headed of the two, and kind of an elitist. I'll bet he spends a lot of time looking at Pitchfork Media.

At first glance, Mia appears to be an ordinary 20-something post-college slacker, and in this case your kindergarten teacher is wrong: you can judge a book by its cover. A resoundingly normal person who generally doesn't want to be associated with the rest of these jokers in the minds of the readers.

Troublemaker and best friend of Mia. Generally friendly, unless there's antics to be had. Which is all the time.
